Stephanie Scuris Untitled stainless steel, 1994, signed with incised signature and date on the base 23 inches high $7,500 Scuris developed her metal rod sculpture in the mid-1950s, exhibiting works very similar to this at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1959, and widely at other shows in the 1960s. Interweaving lengths of metal tubing (brass, aluminum and stainless steel) Scuris has produced works of light spaciousness and also deceptive complexity.
