Lyman Kipp Untitled plaster, 1961, with incised signature and date on the reverse 10 1/4 x 8 x 2 1/4 inches $2,800 Kipp produced a variety of plaster forms and panels in the early 1960s that were exhibited at Betty Parsons Gallery in New York, and this sculpture dates from that period. These works, before he was to become more involved with the ideas of Minimalism (and produce more monumental, brightly painted work), frequently involve the use of plaster, wood or bronze.
