pen and ink on paper, circa 1950, signed in pencil, described by the artist as a 'sympalograph' but more usually known as a harmonograph (initially developed in the late nineteenth century but also popular in the mid twentieth), this work was created using a system of pendulums connected to a pen and sheet of paper resulting in a drawing that echoes the oscillations of the pendulums, on thin white wove paper; in excellent condition
